KAC Sunshine Su

Su is exceedingly dense and exceedingly finely fleeced. Her fleece is buttery soft and something every alpaca owner would love to sink their fingers into. Su's fleece carries a long staple length and consistent, frequent low amplitude crimp. For her size, she produces a lot of quality fleece.

She is an incredibly engaging,sweet, beautiful, medium framed female. She is well covered with a dense top knot and a full face. Su's sire, Don Montero, comes from a sought after bloodline, Ppperuvian Augengate, now a top herdsire in Australia. Every farm should have a little Auzengate, and in this country, few do! On her dam's side, she carries 5Peruvian Chaccu, an impressive full Peruvian multi award winning stud, owned by Crescent Moon Ranch. Just like Auzengate, Chaccu has sired many multi champions and is renowned for his density. Su's lineage is just full of dense, fine, impressive alpacas, both male and female.

Su expended a lot of energy into her fleece growth and was not ready to breed last spring. Over the summer and early fall of 2008 she had a growth spurt and was ready to breed by late fall. Su was bred to our award winning Legacy son, Crescent Moon's Titanium for a fall 2009 cria. We expect to have a spectacular outcome from this breeding bringing together as it does four outstanding bloodlines - Accoyo Legacy, Mr. Know It All, Accoyo Peruvian Auzengate and 5Peruvian Chaccu.
