Peaches is a full Peruvian, young proven dam. She is a medium sized alpaca with excellent conformation and presence. She is a calm alpaca and generally easy going. What most people seem to notice first about Peaches is her lovely head set and coloration. She is a striking combination of medium fawn and beige.
Peaches carries an above average density to her fleece and good character. The coloration Peaches exhibits is a hand spinner's dream come true. She produces very nice fiber which is a joy to work with.
Peaches was a winner in the show ring, not surprising when you consider her lineage. With 6Peruvian Conan as her sire, and Maple Brook Bolero and Peruvian Bueno on her dam's side, she could hardly go wrong.
Now Peaches is proving her worth as a mother. She delivered her fist cria in spring 2008, a white male from our award winning Legacy son, Crescent Moon's Titanium. Despite the late evening birth, Peaches delivered unassisted and proved to be a great dam from the moment her baby hit the ground. She proved that she could handle it all, from breeding to gestation to delivery to motherly attention and proper nourishment.
We were so pleased with Peaches' first cria, we decided to breed her back to Titanium for a spring 2009 cria arrival. We feel confident that this is another superior breeding and are looking forward to seeing the results.
