4W Arwen

Arwen is a quiet and solid presence in the herd. She is a large framed alpaca, with an exquisite face. Although larger in stature, she is very appropriate in her conformation. Arwen carries  herself in an elegant upright manner, showing her graceful movement.

Arwen is a fleece producer. Of the females on our farm, she typically out produces most of them in the quantity of usable fleece she produces annually. Her fleece is very dense, with well defined crimp, above average staple length and excellent handle. She is an all around easy female to match up with a herdsire, because she has so many fine qualities herself. As a bonus she is showing to produce color.

Arwen delivered a handsome fawn male in 2008 when bred to a beige male, Chase Tavern 24K Gold. We decided to try for color again and bred her to our own Calvin Klein for a May 2009 cria.
