Nixie is an excellent foundation female born in Canada. Her dam, CAVA MME Natiuqe Joyas, was a Chilean import to Canada in1998 who went on to produce five ARI registered female offspring. Nixie's sire, Ceibo, is Canadian out of New Zealand and Chilean lines and has ten ARI registerd offpring - all female.
Nixie is a low maintenace easy keeper with good proportions and structure who breeds and births easily. To date she has produced three females and three males - all healthy and good quality. She is an excellent mom with ample milk. IgG scores on her last two cria have been around 2000 indicating excellent passive transfer.
She carries the black gene and has produced true black and dark silver grey when bred to light silver grey. Her offspring have all been darker than the color of the sire. At 8 years of age she is holding a micron of 27 and still producing excellent yarn.
