At last, it's fall and we have some great weather after the awful heat and humidity of summer in Kansas. This was certainly the most humid summer we have had since coming to Kansas in 2003.
Now we're getting ready for the Fall Farm tour here in Miami County. There are 7 stops on the self guided tour. Go to all of them or pick and choose. There are two wineries to choose from as well as a goat farm, cattle farm, and emu farm and a pecan orchard. Of course we hope you'll visit us and see the alpacas!
We'll have yarn for sale for the knitters amongst you and roving for the felters and spinners. For those who are thinking of Christmas gifts, how about alpaca socks or a scarf for that special someone?
The Farm Tour is on Saturday 16 October from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday 17th October from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Call us for a brochure, 913-879-2066 or stop here first and we will provide the brochure and map for the other farms.
We look forward to seeing you!
